Dear Parents/Guardians Our Moodle website has been designed around the desire to help fulfill our promise of transparency and accountability in our practices and policies. It is our commitment and philosophy to provide the highest quality of care for our students and to meet and exceed the finest educational practices available. Our Moodle site is meant to help achieve these aims by conveying information to you, our parents and students, in the most clear and comprehensive manner possible. At Yip's we are striving to provide information you as parents want and need to feel satisfied that your child is being well taken care of and is in the best learning environment possible. We want our Moodle site to be both academic and fun and therefore we are trying to make it as interactive as possible. Our calendar system is probably the best way to maintain awareness of the many scheduling changes and events going on at our school. We encourage all parents to visit our ‘Parent Corner’ as there are many interesting videoclips that are constantly being updated. It is our intention with these videoclips to help you to be aware of the learning environment and experiences that your child(ren) are being exposed to. This is also a place for parents to go to read about policies and practices at Yip’s, and in education generally, so you can better understand what it is we at Yip’s are striving to do and to become. Please always feel free to leave a comment in our ‘General Comment Forum’ and I will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible. Video and flashfiles will continue to be posted to show you some of the exciting things happening in our school.
