History
Yip's Music & Montessori School Markham Main Campus was established in 1998 and Thornhill Campus in 2000.The program of these two campuses is based on Montessori curriculum, teaching method and teaching apparatus. Formal music education and Chinese Language are included as part of the school curriculum. By responding to a growing demand for this successful program, the school now introduces our elementary division.

Yip's Music & Montessori Elementary Private School is a co-educational, non-denominational school governed by Ontario Ministry of Education. Our school offers a unique curriculum that promotes academic, language and performing arts excellence for preschool aged 3.8 to school age children up to 12 years old.

Location
Elementary Private School is located at 100 Lee Avenue, Unionville (on the West side of Brimley Road, 1 block south of 14th Avenue).

School Hours
Casa: 9:00am to 4:00pm
Elementary: 8:45am to 3:45pm
School hours: 7:00am to 6:30pm
Elementary School year starts from September to June with a summer day camp during the months of July and August. The school observes the York Region Public School year, but professional development days may vary.

Uniform
Uniform is mandatory and worn by both Casa and Elementary students.

Staff
Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in teaching Montessori, language, academic, sports & performing arts specialty programs. All staff has completed criminal reference check.

Visits/Open House
For school visit, appointment can be arranged through the school office. Open House is scheduled on every Friday of each month. A formal presentation will be run at 5:00 p.m. by appointment.

Lunch
Nutritious hot meals are provided and prepared in our kitchen.
