- Intellectual Development Weekend Program (CID) CID offers a variety of musical and artistic training for all participants. Music, Art, Body Movement, Computer and Mind Enlightenment activities are taught in each session. The course enables children to explore a variety of elements. Percussion Class or Piano Class is added before or after lesson.
- Preparatory Music Group (CPS) CPS emphasizes areas of music appreciation, rhythm and pitch accuracy. Students learn sounds and names of different musical instruments. The innovative Yip's Hand Signal System is taught also. Piano lesson is added after class.
- Toddler Program Toddler Program is specially designed for 1.5-2.5 yrs old children. And, it is categorized under Yip's Music & Montessori School. Please refer to Toddler Program.
- Individual Piano / Violin lesson In both piano and violin lessons, we strive to encourage students to develop musical literacy in a balanced manner. Besides offering students the technique of respected instruments, we lead all students to acquire improvisation and composition skills. Through annual activities, students can gain valuable experience of doing ensembles and facing competitions. Parents and students can choose to follow Conservatory system or not. Please communicate with your teacher. We recommend students to sit for public music examinations and competitions whenever they are ready.
- Music Theory (individual or Group Lesson) Classes are organized in small group or on individual basis. Examinations with the Conservatory will be arranged during December, May or August. Tests will be given regularly throughout courses.
Faculty of Fine Arts & Culture consists of 8 stunning programs:
<Preliminary Group> Topics include simple line drawing, shape, coloring, crafts, etc. It aims at cultivating children's creativity through observation and imagination. Mixed media will be used to allow creativity and the power to control different medium.
<Junior Group> Topics include drawing, sketching, cartooning, crafts, etc. More emphasis is put onto handling of a number of media, use of color, perspective, etc.
Curriculum begins with an introduction to constructions of simple characters and later on develops to the practice of various styles and techniques.
- Abacus and Mental Calculation Class NEW!!! Each full course is tailored to fit specific age group by Josephine Ko. All courses are in small group format. Certificates will be given to students after their succession completion of examinations for each level.
- Academic Learning Group Weekend program (ACL1) Course includes:
Course includes Music, Chinese, Math, Computer, and piano are conducted by specialized teachers in each area. Computer is used to make our class more interesting. All classes are conducted in small group, which suit different levels of learning. Piano practice will be included and guided by instructors. English and French study have officially entitled into this course for students of Grade 4 and up.

Our goal is to develop applicable comprehensive and analytical/grammatical skills for students. Target is to encourage and motivate students to learn varying principles of English, and enrich their basic skills into more advances. Program content includes grammar, vocabulary usage, reading, oral, and composition. Program design consents with curriculum of Ministry of Education, Ontario. Each student receives monitoring through his or her daily homework and weekly tests. Classes are available in small group (3-6 students), semi-private, and individual.
Our goal is to develop applicable thinking and problem solving abilities for students. Target is to encourage and motivate students to learn varying principles of mathematics, and enrich their basic skills into more advances. OAC course includes Calculus, Finite, and Algebra Program design consents with curriculum of Ministry of Education, Ontario. Each student receives monitoring through his or her daily homework and weekly tests. Classes are available in small group (3-6 students), semi-private, and individual.
Our goal is to develop applicable comprehensive and analytical/grammatical skills for students. Target is to encourage and motivate students to learn varying principles of French, and enrich their basic skills into more advances. Program content includes oral communication, reading, and writing. Program design consents with curriculum of Ministry of Education, Ontario. Each student receives monitoring through his or her daily homework and weekly tests. Classes are available in small group (3-6 students), semi-private, and individual.
The Choir aims to reach the highest standard of performance, and at the same time develop each chorister into an alert, creative, well-disciplined and self-confident young person.
A brief history of Yip's Children's Choir: Yip's Children's Choir (Canada) has been steadily growing in the past years. Performances have taken the Choir to Massey Hall, Roy Thomson Hall, and Ford Centre for the Performing Arts locally. In 1992, 1993, 1996, and 1999, the Choir made highly successful overseas concert tours to Vancouver, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China for cultural exchange. In 1993 and 1996, it also launched two CD albums, "We, the Children" and "Ocean! My Homeland", which received rave reviews. The Choir collaborates frequently with the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra and can be heard on radio and television nationally. In the summer 1999, the choir was invited by the International Society for Children's Choral and Performing Arts to perform at the International Children's Choir Festivals in Beijng and Hong Kong. A televisin documentary of the tour was produced by CFMT television. In 2000 & 2001, Yip's choir was again invited by International Choral Festival to perform in Calgary, Germany, Austria and Czech Republic. Yip's Children's Choir (Canada) is part of a worldwide music education organization founded by the noted pedagogue, Dr. Yip Wai-Hong with campuses in Hong Kong and Toronto. The Hong Kong Choirs have visited and performed in more than seventy cities in twenty-five countries. The training emphasizes on choral singing technique, basic rudiments, ear-training, sight-singing, music appreciation and the involvement in local and overseas music activities and performances. The choir members will learn and gain precious experiences through different exposures.

Saturday morning / Friday evening Music learning and performing are added to all courses in order to stimulate brain development of creativity, memory, organizational ability, focus span, reasoning skill and listening skill. All courses are conducted by qualified and experienced teachers. Curriculums are listed as follow: - Chinese Language Teaching materials are complied by former member of Hong Kong Curriculum Development Council. Flexible teaching method is adopted in order to suit Canadian Chinese children. Through the activities such as games, stories, drama, rhymes, songs, children's memory can be enhanced.
- Putonghua Through daily conversation, rhymes, traditional poems, children's mandarin knowledge can be strengthened. <Conversation>

- Math Program Designed by the Outstanding Educators Award winner, our syllabus is based on Hong Kong curriculum. Problem-solving skills will be emphasized.
