Dear Parents,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came out last night to our successful Parent Information Night meeting on Wednesday September 29th. There was lots of information presented. If there are any questions regarding last nights meeting, please do not hesitate to contact the school for more information.

This newsletter is to follow up and clarify certain things covered in last night's information meeting.

INDOOR SHOES
Please make certain that your child brings their indoor shoes to school. These shoes must be labeled and with no laces. Slip on shoes or Velcro is much safer and more efficient then lace up shoes.

UNIFORMS
Uniforms are to be worn Monday to Friday except on days when we will be having Physical Education. Physical Education will be on Tuesday and Thursday in the afternoon. On these days your child should bring a white polo shirt, gray sweat pants, or shorts to school. Please also bring non-marking white running shoes. During the winter a gray sweat top is fine to wear along with a white polo shirt and gray sweat pants to change into for gym.

DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Students who are being picked up at 3:45pm are dismissed to go to the waiting area in the library at the front of main building. The students dismissed at 5:00pm and 6:00pm will be dismissed to the waiting area where parents will meet and pick up their children. No parent is permitted in the elementary wing or the Casa/pre-grade 1 classroom for the purpose of picking up his or her children. Please note that it is most convenient and least disruptive to dismiss students at either 5:15 or at 6:00.
